Shaker Style African Mahogany Entry Bench $375.00 (plus $60.00 shipping) Solid and beautiful African mahogany (Khaya Ivorensis) Shaker Style entry bench. I built this small bench with traditional mortise and tenon joinery. The top is one solid board over 12 inches wide, and firmly fixed to the base to allow for seasonal changes in humidity. The legs are gracefully tapered. The bench is dyed and finished with many coats of rich garnet shellac, for that traditional warm mahogany glow. It is complimented by adding a matching coat rack made from the same board as the top of the bench.
