I make these stoppers from several hardwoods, mainly Laurel. The wood and premium-grade cork are drilled to accept a 3/8" dowel. They are assembled using wood glue, and should last many years. They can be uesd for wine bottles, vinegar, olive oil, or whatever needs a good corking. |
